Like the title says, its a loop. Its got only like 3 things going on though and it doesnt capture my attention fully. It could be made better with more bass and maybe some softer synths

This isnt as shitty as you seem to think it is. It's pretty standard heavy metal. You should add more variety though. It seems you only have 1 guitar, 1 bass?, and drums. Throw some secondary guitar lines in there so you have one guitar free to do solos and melodies.

Cheers man. Yeah there are two guitar tracks in there at some points, but most of the time they're both playing the same riff. There's only one bass though yeah, I'm very lazy! Like I said though, this was nothing special, I keep trying to record a full song but I don't seem to have the patience to do it these days!!

bring up the bass!

this sounds awesome, but my brain is telling me that it needs more bass. there wasnt a legit bassline as far as i could tell, other than the beginning. Also, I want to hear more of the kick. The synths are smothering it!
I would like to see how this turns out when its done though....

some issues

No bassline for one. The song feels empty with no bottom end. Second, the synths are not mixed well. That one that comes in around 1:07 dominates the whole spectrum and isnt necessarily pleasant to listen to. Lastly, the parts were off key. You need to keep all of your notes in the same scale, otherwise it ends up sounding random and unpleasant. Its true that its possible to tastefully go offscale but it takes a lot of experience to know when is a good time to do it.

I'd say this song is pretty solid. I'm listening on my laptop so i cant really tell you if the mix is good or not but it sounds alright.
